Rise & Write In Community Includes
- One cycle of daily Rise & Write sessions for 7 days
- Daily practice emails with reflections, prompts, and session links
- Facilitated arrival with grounding and original ambient music
- Two focused writing sprints each morning
- Optional reflection time in community
- The quiet accountability of writing alongside other women of colour writers
- Access to The Portal, our private virtual community where your writing practice can continue between gatherings.
Rise & Write Self-Directed Includes
- Seven daily practice emails delivered at 5 AM Eastern
- Grounding invitations, writing prompts, and written reflections
- A private, flexible way to move through the Rise & Write rhythm in your own time
The self-directed practice does not include live room links, community reflection spaces, recordings, or Portal access.
Media & Recording Policy
We love being able to share glimpses of the Rise & Write community while respecting the creative space we build together.
Portions of the Rise and Reflect rooms may be recorded, and screenshots may be taken during these gatherings. Recordings may be used by Island Scribe for internal notes and planning. Selected general video or audio clips and screenshots may also be used on Island Scribe’s website, social media channels, email communications, and other promotional materials.
The Write room will not be recorded or photographed.
Your writing remains yours. We will not publish, reproduce, or share writing that you read, discuss, or create during Rise & Write without your additional permission.
If we would like to publicly share a recording that features your individual reflection, comments, or contribution, we will ask for your permission first.
You are never required to have your camera on. If you prefer not to appear in screenshots or general video footage used publicly, you are welcome to participate with your camera off during Rise and Reflect.

Cancellation Policy
- There are no refunds once payment is received.
- No refunds will be issued for any missed sessions.
